West Cliff Beach is the main beach in Whitby. It’s a classic ‘bucket and spade’ location, with two miles of beautiful flat sand and bright beach huts, which are available for hire, as are deckchairs and windbreaks. The size of this beach makes it ideal for ball games, kite flying, and paddling.

Castle Howard is a privately-owned stately home that’s partially open to the public. You can spend happy hours exploring woodland paths, picnicking by the lake and discovering flowers in the Walled Garden.

Flamingo Land Resort
